Recipe Scaler

The Recipe Scaler adjusts ingredient quantities proportionally when you change the number of servings or apply a multiplier. It uses unit-aware rounding to produce practical measurements you can actually use in the kitchen.

• Two scale modes: Scale by servings (original vs. new) or by a direct multiplier
• Unit-aware rounding: Rounds to practical kitchen measurements (e.g., nearest 1/4 tsp, 1/4 cup)

How to Use

1. Choose Servings or Multiplier mode
2. Add ingredients manually or paste a recipe to parse
3. Adjust servings or multiplier to see scaled quantities
4. Copy the scaled recipe to use in the kitchen

Rounding Rules

Small units like teaspoons and tablespoons are rounded to the nearest 1/8. Volume measures like cups round to the nearest 1/4. Weight in ounces rounds to the nearest 0.5, while grams and milliliters round to the nearest whole number. Whole items (eggs, cloves) round to the nearest integer.
